Description

You will build and maintain customer-facing user interfaces and backend services within a cloud-based environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop REST API platforms using APIGEE, converting services between SOAP and REST.
• Build microservices using Spring Boot and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Configure CI/CD processes and pipelines using tools like Concours.
• Develop web-based interfaces using modern JavaScript build tools and ECMAScript.
• Manage source code and deployment workflows using Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development and customer engagement experience.
• Expertise in Java/J2EE, JSP Servlets, and the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, ECMAScript, AJAX, and WebSockets.
• Experience with JavaScript build tools such as WebPack, Browserify, Grunt, or Gulp.
• Hands-on experience with PaaS (Cloud Foundry, Heroku, or Elastic Beanstalk) and IaaS/SaaS models.
• Strong Linux skills (Red Hat and CentOS) and shell scripting.
• Experience with SOAP, REST, and web-based API interfaces.
• Practical use of Git for source code management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hybris.
• Knowledge of containerization services like Kubernetes or Pivotal Container Service.
• Experience building solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
