Description

Design and build event-driven, multi-threaded applications for high data volume processing. Own the release pipeline, code quality, and database performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design, code reviews, and unit/integration testing using open source frameworks.
• Define and maintain Java development environments and standard engineering methodologies.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and implement SDLC best practices.
• Collaborate with Squad Leads and Tech Leads to refine backlogs and assign work.
• Partner with DBAs to perform advanced RDBMS performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of full stack development experience in Java/J2EE and Spring framework.
• Proficiency in Angular and REST API development.
• 5+ years of RDBMS development experience using Oracle PL/SQL or SQL Server.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (ASB, Functions, Gateway, File Storage).
• Experience with Spring Batch, JMS (IBM MQ, Active MQ, Azure ASB, Kafka), and ORM (MyBatis, Hibernate).
• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and uDeploy.
• Solid understanding of version control using GIT and tools like Bitbucket and Sonar.
• Experience with IDEs and testing tools including Eclipse, SQL Developer, Postman, and SOAPUI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Rules Engines such as IBM ODM or Drools.
