You will develop and maintain end-to-end applications using Java and modern web technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful services and microservices within a Service Oriented Architecture.
• Implement front-end components using Angular, Ionic, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Manage data persistence and complex queries using Oracle 11+ and SQL.
• Write clean, maintainable code following S.O.L.I.D. principles, design patterns, and TDD practices.
• Integrate continuous integration and deployment workflows into the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and multi-threading.
• Hands-on experience with Angular, Ionic, Protractor, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with Oracle 11+, SQL, and SQL Developer.
• Deep understanding of REST API development and Service Oriented Architecture.
• Proven ability to apply design principles regarding cohesion, coupling, and refactoring.
• Experience with JUnit for unit testing.
• Proficiency with IDEs including Eclipse, WebStorm, or Visual Studio.
• Familiarity with Perforce and JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java Profiling, Memory Analyzer Tool, and New Relic APM.
• Background working in back-office environments with Jett Unite Nightly Build.
