Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend and frontend systems while mentoring junior engineers and defining coding standards.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust features using Java, Spring Framework, and Angular.
• Write clean, unit-tested, and maintainable code following established best practices.
• Design and optimize database interactions using SQL and Hibernate ORM.
• Mentor junior staff, review code, and define engineering standards.
• Apply object-oriented and functional design patterns to solve complex problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with JavaScript and the Angular framework.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design.
• Proficiency with Hibernate or similar Object Relational Mapping tools.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and applying REST architectural patterns.
• Ability to produce unit-tested, maintainable code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior engineers and defining team coding standards.
• Deep knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
