Description

Design, build, and maintain Java/J2EE web applications and supporting services in Alpharetta, GA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Java/J2EE web applications and services.
• Create and manage DevOps pipelines using GitLab or GitHub.
• Direct development and validation of test routines.
• Review and resolve issues from testing or customer feedback.
• Advise management on technical priorities.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Java 8 and above.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Framework (Web, WS, MVC, Security, Data, Test).
• Experience with SOAP and REST web services.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience creating CI/CD pipelines in GitHub or GitLab.
• Knowledge of application servers such as Tomcat or JBoss.
• Exposure to XML, JUnit, Mockito, and contract testing for REST services.
• Experience in software architecture, system tuning, and continuous integration.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud experience in AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kafka, Redis, and GitLab CI/CD.
