Description

You will build and maintain scalable, cloud-native applications using Java and modern web frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly scalable applications using open-source frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
• Package services with Docker and deploy to AWS or Kubernetes environments.
• Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries for data persistence.
• Implement TDD and BDD practices using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
• Perform static analysis and remediation using tools like Fortify or SonarQube.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP web services and JSON.
• Front-end development experience with Angular.
• Proficiency in SQL and query optimization.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and build tools including Jenkins, Maven, Git, and Artifactory.
• Experience with JMS enterprise messaging technologies like ActiveMQ.

Preferred Skills

• Experience setting up, maintaining, and evolving cloud infrastructure for web applications.
• Experience working within Agile software development methodologies.
