You will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Java and modern web frameworks.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and code highly scalable applications using open-source frameworks.
• Develop and maintain web services using REST and SOAP protocols.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data management.
• Package services using Docker and deploy to cloud platforms like AWS or Kubernetes.
• Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 10 years of software development experience.
• Extensive experience with Java and J2EE.
• Proficiency in Spring frameworks, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with tools including Git, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, JMeter, and Artifactory.
• Experience with JMS technologies like ActiveMQ or AMQ.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience setting up and evolving cloud infrastructure for web applications.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry.
