Description

You will design, develop, and maintain web-based grant management applications for the NIH eRA Program. You own the full lifecycle from code development to production support and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications using JEE technologies.
• Implement front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript libraries.
• Write unit tests and automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Manage source code and track issues using Git and JIRA.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java 1.7+ and Object-oriented design.
• Strong proficiency in Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Oracle database design and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of XML, Web Services (RESTful, SOAP), and Apache CXF.
• Front-end skills in Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular or React JS.
• Knowledge of Apache Tiles.
