Description

You will design, develop, and maintain full stack applications that support core retail and commerce workflows, contributing across backend services, front-end components, and database interactions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve Java-based backend services and application logic.
• Contribute to front-end development using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Vue.js.
• Refactor and modernize existing systems to improve performance and stability.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for internal integrations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database logic.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong, hands-on Java development experience in recent roles.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with REST APIs and web services.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
• Comfort working with legacy codebases and refactoring.
• Experience in a production full stack environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Background in retail, POS, eCommerce, or payments.
