Description

You will design, develop, and implement complex backend and frontend solutions for child support system interfaces, bridging legacy mainframes with federal and state agencies.

Responsibilities

• Build backend application code using Java 8 and Spring Boot to interface with external services and RESTful APIs.
• Implement integration logic using Apache Camel, Spring Batch, and Web Services (REST, SOAP, EJB).
• Develop frontend application pages using Angular, TypeScript, and Bootstrap.
• Ensure code quality and security through unit testing, integration testing, and tools like SonarQube and Cobertura.
• Analyze and update system architectures to support interactions between legacy systems and external agencies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8 and the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with Spring Batch, Apache Camel, Spring Jdbc, and Hibernate ORM.
• Frontend development skills using Angular 7, TypeScript, and HTML5.
• Database management with PostgreSQL and tools such as PgAdmin or DBeaver.
• Build and integration experience with Maven and Jenkins.
• Version control proficiency using Git and Bitbucket.
• Testing framework knowledge including Karma, Jasmine, and Protractor.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP service testing via Postman, SOAP UI, or Advanced Rest Client.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
