Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot within a Kubernetes environment. You will own the full lifecycle of backend services, including gateway configuration, versioning, exception handling, and rate limiting.

You will implement robust cloud infrastructure on Azure (with AWS support), managing private VPN connections and dedicated containers. You will ensure system reliability through comprehensive observability using logging and Dynatrace.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design RESTful APIs with proper gateway integration, versioning, and error handling.
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes clusters on Azure.
• Implement observability strategies using logging frameworks and Dynatrace.
• Collaborate on infrastructure setup involving RDBMS and private networking.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience with Java development.
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of API design, including gateway, rate limiting, and retry logic.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud services; AWS experience is acceptable.
• Experience with RDBMS and database management.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace or similar observability tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Node.js or Python.
• Knowledge of MuleSoft integration platforms.
