Description

You will build and maintain end-to-end applications using Java and modern cloud technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Implement event-driven messaging using Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams.
• Design and manage data storage using NoSQL databases like Cassandra and MongoDB.
• Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications via OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Write JUnit test cases to ensure code quality and system reliability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience with Core and Advanced Java.
• Expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka messaging and event streams.
• Proficiency with NoSQL document databases, specifically MongoDB and Cassandra.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS and PCF.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Practical application of Agile methodologies and estimation techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to business customers and architects.
