Description

Build and maintain insurance domain applications using Java and AWS cloud services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Java 8 and the Spring framework.
• Build and maintain REST APIs to support application functionality.
• Implement frontend components using React or JavaScript.
• Deploy and manage applications within AWS and OpenShift environments.
• Collaborate with the team to convert business requirements into actionable user stories.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Mandatory experience working in the insurance industry.
• Strong backend development with Java 8 (Streams, CompletableFuture API).
• Expertise in Spring framework (IoC, Transactions).
• Experience with ORM frameworks or Hibernate.
• Proficiency in React or strong JavaScript knowledge.
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
• Knowledge of AWS services including API Gateway, S3, and Lambda.

Preferred Skills

• Experience customizing EIS products.
• Backend tools including Liquibase, Play Framework, SOAP, JUnit, Mockito, or Apache Camel.
