Description

You will own end-to-end full-stack development with a heavy emphasis on back-end engineering. This role requires 100% hands-on implementation, architecture design, and building scalable, low-latency solutions.

Responsibilities

• Write and implement production code for new and existing systems.
• Own the architecture and design of scalable, low-latency software.
• Ramp up quickly on internal in-house platforms and tools.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and technical design meetings.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of professional, non-internship software development experience.
• Strong background in Scala and Big Data technologies, including Spark, AWS, and EMR.
• At least 1 year of experience contributing to system architecture and design.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language: Java, Python, C++, or C#.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems.
• STEM background degree.
