Description

Develop and lead high-impact solutions for address and checkout application services in Seattle, WA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect new and existing systems using established design patterns.
• Build and maintain real-time, large-scale distributed applications.
• Optimize application performance and system reliability to handle large data volumes.
• Own the full software development life cycle, from coding to operations.
• Act as a technical liaison between US-based teams and engineering teams in India.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java development.
• 3+ years of experience in system design or architecture, focusing on scaling and reliability.
• Proficiency with at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with RESTful services.
• Strong understanding of system and application performance characteristics.
• Knowledge of source control management, build processes, and testing.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• 7+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle, including code reviews and operations.
• Experience designing and maintaining distributed architectures.
