Description

Required:

• At least 10 years of full software development life cycle experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments.
• Strong full-stack application development experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing notification, alerting, messaging, or event-driven systems.
• Previous experience working within the airline industry.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, RESTful web services, and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Experience identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise services, applications, and platforms.
• Apply domain-driven design, object-oriented design, and test-driven development practices.
• Build and support notification and event-driven applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Kafka.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, database, and production issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Create detailed technical specifications, requirements, estimates, and solution documentation.
• Research and implement technologies that improve performance, security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain applications deployed through Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related DevOps tools.
• Support coding standards, security guidelines, and enterprise development best practices.
• Work with architects and technical leads to ensure solutions support long-term enterprise growth.
• Identify and remediate application security vulnerabilities.
• Monitor production applications using tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Fluent Bit, and Azure services
