Description

Build and maintain Java/J2EE web applications in Alpharetta. Own the release pipeline and technical priorities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Java/J2EE web applications.
• Create and manage DevOps pipelines using GitLab or GitHub.
• Direct the development and validation of test routines.
• Review and resolve issues identified through testing or customer feedback.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java 8 and above.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework (Web, WS, MVC, Security, Data, Test).
• Experience with SOAP and REST Web services.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or GitLab.
• Knowledge of application servers such as Tomcat or JBoss.
• Experience with XML, JUnit, Mockito, and contract testing for REST web services.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
