Description

You will build and maintain web applications using Java technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and interface with RESTful web services using JSON.
• Implement features within a microservices architecture.
• Optimize queries and manage data concepts within relational databases.
• Own the delivery process using Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing web applications with Java and J2EE.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring, and JUnit.
• Experience with frontend technologies, specifically React JS.
• Strong knowledge of database concepts and query optimization.
• Experience developing and interfacing with RESTful and JSON web services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and the DevOps model.
• Experience with version control systems like GIT or SVN.
• Knowledge of Kafka.
• Experience with AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Chef or Puppet.
