Description

You will develop and maintain financial services applications using Java, SQL, and Unix/Linux environments. You own the full development lifecycle from gathering business requirements to delivering technical solutions in a trading context.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Java-based applications with strong SQL and Unix/Linux proficiency.
• Manage job scheduling using Autosys and handle messaging systems integration.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and adhere to strict software change management practices.
• Apply SDLC principles using JIRA for issue tracking and project management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java Development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Unix/Linux command-line environments.
• Experience with Autosys Job Scheduling and messaging systems.
• Working knowledge of SDLC, JIRA, and software change management.
• Financial Services domain experience with an understanding of trading concepts and asset classes.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GitLab Duo or AI-driven development environments.
• Stock Loan domain experience.
• Strong understanding of Open API Standards.
