Description

Design, develop, test, and support scalable services and applications within a financial modeling division. You will own the release pipeline, fix defects, and address technical debt to maintain high software standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Develop responsive web UIs using Angular, Query, and Material design.
• Write clean code with automated unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Coordinate with team members across infrastructure layers and assist with upgrades.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on software development and programming experience.
• Deep knowledge of application, data, and architecture design patterns.
• Strong background in scalable services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Kafka, and the Netflix stack.
• Experience developing web UIs using Angular, Query, and Material design.
• Proficiency in REST API design, development, and documentation.
• Experience with Gradle, Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Experience with SQL Server, Sybase, Redis, and MongoDB.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with fundamental web front-end languages and frameworks.
