Description

You will build and modernize cloud-native applications using Java and Vue.js.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and integrate modern APIs and applications.
• Contribute to a three-year strategy for modernizing legacy platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs quickly and accurately.
• Apply best practices for performance, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor junior developers within Agile teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Java development experience in an enterprise environment.
• Expertise in Java (versions 8-21) and RESTful API Development.
• Proficiency in Vue.js for Front-End Development.
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• SQL Data Management across databases like DB2 and SQL Server.
• Deploying applications to the cloud using AWS.
• Familiarity with Agile processes, Jira, or Teams.
