Description

You will design and develop scalable, resilient hybrid cloud-based streaming applications for financial risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement analysis and reviews to identify and validate model assumptions within Agile environments.
• Design and build high-speed, data-centric streaming applications using established architecture frameworks.
• Perform thorough code reviews and write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with architects and product owners to drive data-driven organizational strategy.
• Mentor developers and assist with departmental and new employee training.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience building high-speed, data-centric solutions.
• Expertise in Java 8+.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Flink, Apache Spark, or Kafka Streams.
• Experience with distributed message brokers including Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Amazon Kinesis.
• Experience with cloud migrations and AWS foundational services (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, KMS, IAM).
• Proficiency with Relational, NoSQL, Object-based, and Graph databases.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit or Citrus.
• Knowledge of Git workflows and DevOps tools including Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, ElasticSearch, Prometheus, or AppDynamics.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree.
• OCP Java SE 8 Programmer Certification or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Level.
• Experience with risk analytics technology implementations.
