Description

You will own the design, coding, testing, and deployment of Java and React-based applications, serving as the primary escalation point for technical challenges.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Java 11+ and Spring Boot, ensuring adherence to MVC and structural design patterns.
• Develop and maintain responsive front-end interfaces using React, integrating with backend APIs.
• Lead technical reviews and guide less experienced staff in resolving complex engineering issues.
• Execute test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) using Cucumber, Postman, and Playwright.
• Collaborate within Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) to manage deployments on cloud platforms like PCF or Azure.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on Java development.
• Deep understanding of Java fundamentals, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency with Java frameworks including Spring, Spring Boot, and Java EE.
• Experience with Oracle DB and database management.
• Front-end development skills using React and modern JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (PCF, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Strong problem-solving abilities for analyzing and resolving complex technical issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with message queuing (MQ) middleware and Apigee.
