Description

You will lead the development of new features and maintain existing software within an iterative, agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features through iterative cycles to build out large-scale applications.
• Modify and enhance existing software to add functionality while improving the codebase.
• Participate in work estimation and planning as part of the scrum process.
• Coordinate application implementation and test functionality to ensure all specifications are met.
• Collaborate closely with a large development team to solve technical problems and convey solutions to product owners.

Required Skills

• 6-7 years of related software engineering experience.
• Java 8 or above.
• Spring Boot, Spring Reactive, and Spring Cloud.
• Kubernetes.
• Reactive Programming and Event Driven architecture.
• Multi-threading concepts and TCP/IP.
• REST based JSON APIs and database management.
• Build and deployment tools including Maven, Git, and JUnit.
• DevOps toolchains such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Test-driven development (TDD) practices.
• Experience working within a Scrum framework.

Preferred Skills

• Front end technologies including JavaScript, Angular (2+), or React.
• UI testing, continuous integration, and pair programming.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise and commercial software development.
