Description

You will lead large-scale application modernization programs, transforming legacy systems into cloud-native, microservices-based architectures while defining solution architecture and API contracts.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee backend systems using Node.js (NestJS/Express) and frontend applications using React.js.
• Drive adoption of microservices, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) for distributed systems.
• Establish coding standards, governance models, and enforce best practices across development teams.
• Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery and mitigate technical risks.
• Partner with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud deployments on AWS.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of overall IT experience with strong full-stack development exposure.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js (NestJS/Express.js) and React.js (Hooks, Redux).
• Proven experience leading large-scale application modernization programs.
• Deep understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services including EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, and IAM.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience managing onsite-offshore delivery models and strong stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS) and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and clean architecture.
