Design and build maintainable, highly tested business applications from concept through production.

Responsibilities

• Design and build evolvable systems using object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Develop and implement APIs and relational database queries.
• Participate in peer code reviews and pull requests as both reviewer and reviewee.
• Apply unit and integration testing to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with the team to apply pragmatic technology solutions for client value.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering and design experience with large scale business applications.
• 3+ years of experience developing business applications from concept to production.
• Proficiency with MVC .NET and .NET Core (version 3.1 or above).
• Experience with React.JS, GraphQL, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with ORM tools such as Entity Framework or EF Core.
• Strong skills in relational database design and query optimization using SQL Server or Postgres.
• Experience implementing tests with NUnit, xUnit, MS Test, or Selenium.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and Git.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, security, and architectural principles.

Preferred Skills

• Commercial insurance domain knowledge.
• Experience with Dapper, NHibernate, or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks.
