Description

Lead a team of software engineers in the Digital Banking group, balancing technical direction with hands-on development.

Responsibilities

• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, code reviews, and daily standups.
• Dedicate 30% of time to individual contribution, including coding, debugging, and technical design.
• Own quality, reliability, and performance of systems across retail and wealth banking platforms.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for technical blockers and production issues.
• Mentor team members through regular coaching and performance feedback.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years in a technical leadership or team lead capacity.
• Full stack development expertise using React and Node.js.
• Proficiency with SQL-based databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Git, and CI/CD processes.
• Strong understanding of secure development practices and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the banking or fintech domain.
