Description

You will design, implement, and optimize OpenTelemetry instrumentation and pipelines across services to capture metrics, logs, and traces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize the observability stack using Grafana OSS, Loki, Mimir, Tempo, and Otel for scalability and performance.
• Embed observability into CI/CD pipelines and application lifecycles, driving dashboards-as-code and alerts-as-code practices.
• Automate telemetry collection, alerting, and enrichment to reduce operational overhead.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and cloud teams to align observability with infrastructure delivery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry instrumentation and development.
• Proven experience with Grafana OSS stack: Loki, Mimir, Tempo.
• Advanced AWS cloud experience for observability in distributed systems.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Shell, or Perl.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and orchestration tools like Jenkins and Terraform.
• Experience with data routing tools such as Cribl or FluentBit.
• Background in monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, or Zabbix.
• Any Graduate education required.
