Description

Lead a team of 10 software and research engineers building NLP-based ML applications that process millions of documents monthly. You will own day-to-day operations, applying modern software development practices to build, test, deploy, and optimize full stack features.

Responsibilities

• Direct a team of 10 engineers, managing performance and career development.
• Own day-to-day operations for applications used to create NLP-based ML models.
• Build, test, deploy, and optimize full stack features using modern software development practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, scientists, and designers to improve user experience.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience managing people, nurturing talent, and managing performance.
• Hands-on experience developing medium to large full stack applications using .NET, C#, and Angular.
• Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining applications in Azure.
• Knowledge of systems design theory to build scalable functional and non-functional systems.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with incident management and reliability engineering.
• Knowledge of the AI/ML development lifecycle or developing applications in an AI/ML context.
• Prior experience with Rust.
