Description

You will build and maintain full-stack financial services applications focused on fixed income and securitization domains. You own the development lifecycle from API design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services using Python and Aurora RDS.
• Implement trade confirmation workflows aligned with DTCC CTM processes.
• Handle trade settlement logic involving SWIFT MT500 series messages.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS infrastructure (ALB, EC2, Lambda, Secrets Manager) and Kubernetes clusters.
• Write test-driven code with a focus on advanced SQL queries and data integrity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with AWS services including ALB, EC2, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes deployment and containerization.
• Familiarity with React or Next.js for frontend components.
• Understanding of financial instruments, specifically bonds, loans, or mortgage-backed securities.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with DTCC CTM processes and SWIFT messaging standards.
• Knowledge of private securitization through Special Purpose Vehicle Entities (SPVs).
