Description

You will build and maintain scalable web applications and JavaScript backend services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services using NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Deliver testable, maintainable, and high-quality code through technical design and implementation.
• Participate in peer code reviews, testing, support, and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver features.
• Build and maintain frontend interfaces using Vue or Angular.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building production software systems.
• 5+ years of professional programming experience with NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience developing Microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with frontend frameworks including Vue and Angular.
• Experience with non-relational databases such as MongoDB, Mongoose, and Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong command of Git, CI pipelines, deployments, and npm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a quantitative field.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Kafka and Redis.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Lerna, or Yarn.
