Description

You will develop and maintain scalable microservices and web applications using Java and modern frameworks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Implement web security measures including SAML, encryption, and certificates.
• Write automated tests using JUnit and follow test-driven development practices.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and apply DevOps and Agile principles to the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within Linux environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Java software engineer.
• Expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Strong SQL and database management skills.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with Maven and Git.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Web security knowledge including SAML and web attack protection.
• Proficiency with Linux commands and Bash scripting.
• Experience with JUnit and automated testing.

Preferred Skills

• Kotlin, AWS, and Terraform.
• Containerization expertise using Docker and Kubernetes.
