Description

You will build and maintain software tools for engineering analysis and hardware simulation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for engineering tools.
• Develop dynamic data visualization graphs to support technical analysis.
• Create and optimize back-end algorithms for mechanical problems using calculus and mathematics.
• Architect scalable code structures and integrate tools with external APIs, databases, and authentication systems.
• Collaborate with the Hardware FEA team to iterate on tool development based on technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Strong back-end development experience with Python and numerical scripting.
• Expertise in mathematics, calculus, and scripting numerical solutions.
• Experience creating data visualizations and designing UX for technical users.
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, and authentication mechanisms.
• Proficiency with GitHub and version control.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Background in mechanics, mechanical engineering, or FEA software and simulation.
• Master’s degree, Ph.D., or familiarity with cloud services and deployment pipelines.
