Description

Develop Java-based applications for the financial securities industry.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review application requirements and business processes to guide development.
• Contribute to design sessions and team discussions with limited supervision.
• Develop features from requirements through completion.
• Write unit and integration tests to verify requirements and debug issues.
• Review code and provide constructive feedback on improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in OO design and development using Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks, specifically ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Understanding of Dependency Injection/IoC, JPA, and SQL.
• Experience building multi-threaded solutions handling high data load.
• Expertise writing unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with Git as a version control system (GitLab).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS).
• Knowledge of Docker and Kafka.
