Develop and maintain integrations for third-party systems including admissions, career services, and financial aid. Analyze, implement, and maintain system enhancements for faculty, staff, and student-facing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Implement the University’s Digital Experience Platform (DXP) and resolve complex integration problems.
- Document technical requirements, software design, and system support procedures.
- Adhere to departmental SDLC policies and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff members on technical implementations.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of related software engineering experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft .NET, C#, and VB.NET.
- Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
- Strong SQL development skills using Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL (views, stored procedures, user-defined functions).
- Frontend development experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with Vue.JS or similar frameworks.
- Working knowledge of XML/XSL and JSON.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud hosting on AWS or Azure.
- Experience with Unix, Docker, and Git/SVN.
- Report development using SQL Server Reporting Services.
