Description

Develop and maintain integrations for third-party systems including admissions, career services, and financial aid. Analyze, implement, and maintain system enhancements for faculty, staff, and student-facing platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the University’s Digital Experience Platform (DXP) and resolve complex integration problems.
  • Document technical requirements, software design, and system support procedures.
  • Adhere to departmental SDLC policies and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff members on technical implementations.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of related software engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft .NET, C#, and VB.NET.
  • Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
  • Strong SQL development skills using Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL (views, stored procedures, user-defined functions).
  • Frontend development experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with Vue.JS or similar frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of XML/XSL and JSON.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud hosting on AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with Unix, Docker, and Git/SVN.
  • Report development using SQL Server Reporting Services.
