Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring. You will own the backend services, messaging systems, and data storage layers. You will also manage CI/CD pipelines and monitor production performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Java, Groovy, and Spring.
• Implement messaging and streaming systems with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Optimize data storage and caching using Cassandra, Postgres, EHCache, and Memcached.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines through GitHub and Jenkins.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues using Grafana, Splunk, and Dynatrace.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling applications for high request volumes.
• Proficiency in Java, Groovy, and Spring frameworks.
• Experience with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on work with Cassandra and Postgres databases.
• Experience with caching technologies like EHCache or Memcached.
• Knowledge of public cloud infrastructure including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with GitHub and Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Proficiency in automated testing using Groovy and Spock.
• Ability to use monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, and Dynatrace.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• Understanding of front-end technologies including React and JavaScript.
