Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex front and mid-office applications for mortgage-backed securities, trading, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex MBS, trading, and risk management applications.
• Translate business requirements into functional, user-friendly software.
• Analyze, design, develop, and troubleshoot new and existing applications.
• Build and maintain full stack solutions across front-end and back-end layers.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Strong expertise in both front-end and back-end development.
• Deep understanding of OOP fundamentals, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with automation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial or banking systems, specifically Fixed Income, MBS, or securities processing.
• Knowledge of caching frameworks and distributed computing using Grid.
• Experience working with risk systems in the financial industry.
