Description

Lead the design and development of scalable full-stack applications in the airline booking domain, owning backend services and frontend interfaces.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement RESTful APIs for supplier integrations (GDS/NDC/LCC) and internal consumption.
• Develop backend services using Java 21 and Spring Boot, and frontend interfaces with React v19.
• Design database schemas in MySQL 8.4 or Aurora RDS and optimize queries for performance.
• Integrate payment gateways and manage session/token security using Redis and JWT/OAuth.
• Drive code reviews, mentor junior developers, and coordinate CI/CD deployments on AWS ECS/Fargate.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of full-stack development experience with 2+ years in a Tech Lead role.
• Expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and React.js (Redux/Context API).
• Strong understanding of Airline APIs (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport) and GDS/NDC/LCC integrations.
• Proficient in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and database optimization techniques.
• Experience with Redis, Docker, AWS ECS/Fargate, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep experience with payment gateway integrations (Razorpay, Stripe, Cybersource).
• Strong command of RESTful API design, versioning, throttling, and security.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with GraphQL, Kafka/RabbitMQ, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with performance testing and load optimization tools.
