Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Deploy and manage services on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Optimize relational and NoSQL database integrations and data flows.
• Collaborate with team members using Git for version control and code reviews.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Micronaut, or Quarkus.
• Strong understanding of API authentication including OAuth2, JWT, and API Keys.
• Practical experience with cloud compute, database, and networking services on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, and/or NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Expert-level proficiency with Git.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and messaging queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of observability tools for logging, metrics, and tracing.
