Description

You will build user-facing features and RESTful services with a heavy focus on Node.js backend development.

Responsibilities

• Develop new RESTful services and user-facing features using Node.js and React.js.
• Build reusable components and server-side libraries for future use.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, optimized code.
• Write unit tests for all code and interfaces before QA.
• Document implementation solutions and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience with Node.js and React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Deep knowledge of Node.js frameworks and libraries such as Express, Async, Lodash, and Socket.
• Thorough understanding of React.js core principles and workflows like Flux or Redux.
• Experience with server-side templating languages like Jade or EJS.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Token.
• Proficiency with front-end tools including Webpack, NPM, and HTML5/CSS3.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git or SVN.
• Knowledge of data structure libraries like Immutable.js and newer ECMAScript specifications.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of isomorphic React.
