Description

You will own backend development for a prescription transfer service, transitioning to fullstack React work in the final two months of the initial phase.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the backend service for pharmacy prescription transfers to meet July deliverables.
• Modernize and clean up the existing codebase to align with internal engineering standards.
• Implement new service functionality as evolving requirements dictate.
• Harden the codebase to ensure security and stability for PHI health data.
• Transition to React frontend development during the latter part of the initial phase.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js.
• Expertise in TypeScript.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with React for frontend development.
• Ability to work with sensitive health data.
• Degree in any field of study.
