Description

Build user-facing features and scalable server-side services using Node.js and React.

Responsibilities

• Develop new RESTful services and user-facing features using Node.js and React.js.
• Build reusable components and libraries for both front-end and server-side use.
• Translate designs, wireframes, and business requirements into high-quality, optimized code.
• Write unit tests for all code and interfaces prior to QA.
• Document implemented solutions and adhere to established development best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with React.js and strong proficiency in JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of Node.js and frameworks like Express.
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and DOM manipulation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Token.
• Hands-on experience with Webpack, NPM, and modern front-end build pipelines.
• Competency with version control tools such as Git or SVN.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming, Lodash, and socket libraries.
• Familiarity with server-side templating languages like Jade or EJS.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a computer-related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of isomorphic React.
• Experience with Redux, Flux, or Immutable.js.
