Description

Design, develop, and test Java-based applications in an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Manage complex code integrations and resolve difficult Git merges at a project maintainer level.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins.
• Develop web components utilizing Spring MVC and open-source sub-components.
• Implement messaging solutions using Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in Java application design and software development.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
• Advanced Git usage, including handling complex merges and integrations.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Elastic Search.
• Strong understanding of XML, SOAP, JSON, and web services technologies.
• Solid grasp of data structure fundamentals and multi-threaded programming.
• Hands-on experience with messaging brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience managing build pipelines via Jenkins and Git.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
