Description

You will lead the conception, design, development, and maintenance of scalable and secure web applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of web applications from conception to maintenance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to transform designs into scalable applications.
• Enhance backend services to improve maintainability, testability, and performance.
• Apply best practices to reduce technical debt and maintain high code quality standards.
• Solve complex engineering and business challenges using sound engineering fundamentals.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience building cross-platform desktop applications with ElectronJS.
• Expertise in NodeJS, preferably using NestJS, for unit-tested backend code.
• Experience with multi-threading and concurrency programming.
• Strong object-oriented design skills and knowledge of design patterns.
• Proficiency with gRPC, Websockets, and REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and ElasticSearch.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for frontend integration.
• Experience with Cloud Native development using AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with Svelte frontend frameworks.

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
