Description

Build and maintain messaging-based applications using Java and multi-layer architectures. You will own the technical delivery, coordinating components across internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop database schemas, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and transactional SQL within DB2 and Oracle databases.
• Mentor junior team members and drive process-improvement initiatives to increase product velocity.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and application resiliency procedures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing Java and messaging-based applications.
• Expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, and J2EE solutions.
• Hands-on experience with API design, REST APIs, and microservices implementation.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies including JPA2 and Hibernate.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, uDeploy, GitHub, and Stash.
• Advanced Git skills and familiarity with branching strategies.
• Experience using Sonar for code quality and HP Operations Orchestration for resiliency.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or Information Systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial services industry, specifically Mutual Funds.
• Previous experience in project or people management.
