Description

You will build and maintain messaging-based applications using Java and multi-layer architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop database schemas, PL/SQLs, stored procedures, and transactional SQL within DB2 and Oracle databases.
• Implement microservices and REST APIs using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Lead code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and uDeploy.
• Mentor junior team members and drive process-improvement initiatives to increase product team velocity.

Required Skills

• 6-9 years of experience developing Java and messaging-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Proven expertise in API design and multi-layer J2EE architecture.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies including JPA2 and Hibernate.
• Experience with DB2 and Oracle databases, including PL/SQL development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and uDeploy.
• Expertise in GIT and branching strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or Information Systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial services industry, specifically Mutual Funds.
• Background in Project or People Management.
