Description

Develop and maintain fullstack applications using Java and modern web technologies in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using JSON and microservices standards.
• Support existing applications and execute bi-weekly deployments via CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and resolve technical issues under pressure.
• Manage SharePoint content updates and site administration tasks.
• Apply Agile testing and deployment disciplines to the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, JSP, and Servlets.
• Strong JavaScript skills, including HTML5 and jQuery.
• Deep understanding of API design patterns and RESTful services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and deployment workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular JS, ReactJS, or NodeJS.
• Knowledge of Oracle database query and data performance.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Maven, or Jira.
