Description

You will design, develop, and deploy cloud-native Java applications and automation frameworks on AWS. You will own the full lifecycle from serverless architecture design to CI/CD pipeline maintenance and QA automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and QA automation pipelines using AWS CodeBuild and CodeDeploy.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild for seamless deployment.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation and monitor performance with CloudWatch and X-Ray.
• Implement security best practices using IAM, KMS, and CloudTrail while ensuring robust backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Java Developer with local presence in McLean, VA.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, and Fargate.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and serverless architectures using AWS API Gateway and Lambda.
• Experience with Spring Batch and Java Full Stack development.
• Skilled in QA Automation and creating automated testing frameworks.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools, specifically AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure management using CloudFormation and monitoring via CloudWatch.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS CodeDeploy for deployment automation.
• Familiarity with X-Ray for application performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
