Description

You will own the full lifecycle development of distributed cloud applications using Java.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Attend agile sessions to refine requirements and assess application impact for new features.
• Prepare and present high-level solution designs to clients and offshore teams.
• Deploy code changes to test and production environments and schedule maintenance walkthroughs.
• Monitor batch flows post-deployment and investigate emergency production issues.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cases.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java full stack development.
• Hands-on experience designing and testing RESTful APIs using Swagger, RAML, and SOAP.
• Proficiency with Microservices architecture and building distributed cloud applications.
• Solid SQL knowledge, including DB2 connection via JDBC template.
• Working knowledge of security protocols including JWT, OAuth2.0, and SSL Certificates.
• Experience with Git for code merging and branching methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and DevOps processes using Jenkins.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices across the full SDLC, including code reviews.
