Description

You will build and maintain scalable background frameworks, pipelines, and platforms for internal teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain pipelines and framework code for logging and tracing.
• Update existing scripts and write reusable Java libraries.
• Design database schemas that support business processes and handle embedded or external databases.
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Apply object-oriented programming patterns and architectural principles to scalable applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java and Python development.
• Proficiency in Java ecosystems, including concurrency patterns and class loading mechanisms.
• Ability to write Python and Shell scripts.
• Practical knowledge of JDBC and RESTful web services.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Play or Spark.
• Understanding of MVC patterns and design principles for scalable applications.
• Competence with build tools like Ant, Maven, or Gradle.
• Proficiency in code versioning using Git.
• Knowledge of JVM internals, including limitations and workarounds.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java GUI frameworks including Swing, SWT, or AWT.
• Familiarity with J2EE.
